Redoing Teddy Bear Quilt January 2008 My Teddy Bear Quilt started falling apart.   It would tear when you would pull it up on you.  So I took out the bears and I am now redoing it with thicker material.  My sis-in-law (Cathy) gave me some king size flannel sheets>> thats what Im using for the border around my bears, and the backing of the quilt. I love it
