We have redone this whole Kitchen,.  Tore out the cabinets.. lots of garbage and other things we found under them.  Me and my brother tore up the kitchen floor.. 2 layers of tile was under the rug that was on the floor top,  Lots of tar and stuff to scrape off the hardwood floors.  I sanded the flooring and polyurthaned what I could.  Some of the floor was rotten, so I had to use floor filler on it.  I put tile in front of the sink.   Really bad flooring there.  Tom fell through the floor when we tore out the kitchen sink and cabinet.   The floor had stayed wet and thats why it had rotted like that. My mom gave me some tile and thats what I used.  I also tiled the other half the kitchen.. where the table is sitting.  We are going to expand the bathroom in the future so I didnt finish the cupboard.
